1986-1987 Turbo Regal special 160-degree thermostat required by some of the aftermarket computer chips. This thermostat can be used with your stock computer chip enabling your car to run cooler. By lowering the engine temperature, you can gain more power. This will also cut down on the number of times that annoying electric fan will kick on as you shut your car off, since your engine will operate at a cooler temperature.
Because of its unique size, the 160-degree thermostat is NOT found in any auto parts stores. Most parts stores only carry the stock one. No gasket is required, and the original O-ring can be reused.
NOTE: This thermostat can effect emissions, so if local laws have emissions tests, it is not recommended.
N1Performance "Stock Replacement Up Pipe" for a 1986 or 1987 Buick Grand National, T Type, Turbo T, or GNX 3.8 liter turbo V6. This item is a great upgrade from the factory steel throttle body up pipe. It is polished 2.5" aluminum pipe and also comes with (2) 2.5 hoses and (4) heavy duty T-bolt clamps.
CLASSIC TUBE now has an exact oil-cooler replacement hose set, unique to the ’86-’87 models. GM discontinued these Grand National and Turbo Regal oil cooler hoses long ago. CLASSIC TUBE has duplicated the hard line hose ends and fittings to exactly match your radiator high and low pressure inlet and outlet.
An excellent upgrade in performance for those wanting more from their stock location intercooler. Features bar and plate construction, which allows the use of higher boost pressure. This construction is also much more resistant to damage from road hazards than tube and fin designs. Comes with mandral bent aluminum up-pipe, aluminum shroud, hoses, clamps and mounting hardware needed for installation.
