1986-1987 Turbo Regal special 160-degree thermostat required by some of the aftermarket computer chips. This thermostat can be used with your stock computer chip enabling your car to run cooler. By lowering the engine temperature, you can gain more power. This will also cut down on the number of times that annoying electric fan will kick on as you shut your car off, since your engine will operate at a cooler temperature.

Because of its unique size, the 160-degree thermostat is NOT found in any auto parts stores. Most parts stores only carry the stock one. No gasket is required, and the original O-ring can be reused.

NOTE: This thermostat can effect emissions, so if local laws have emissions tests, it is not recommended.
